Commissioner Nick Bloise

Commissioner Nick BloiseNick Bloise is a lifelong resident of Sacramento County residing in Carmichael. He graduated in 1998 from California State University, Sacramento with a Master's of Business Administration with a concentration in Finance which added to his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Accountancy and a minor in Economics from the same university. ​He has served over 23 years in the US Army (active duty and reserve) as both an enlisted soldier as well as an officer. 

​Nick retired from the United States Army Reserve as a Major. Nick's military education includes Signal Officer Basic and Advance Courses; Combined Arms Services Staff School; an​d Command and General Staff College (CGSC).  

Nick has worked for the State of California for nearly 30 years as an auditor with the Board of Equalization and California Department of Tax and Fee Administration working with Fortune 500 companies as well as small businesses, and in addition he also represented over 2,500 employees as a chief steward.

Nick is a community volunteer serving on several boards to include: the Carmichael Improvement District, the Sacramento Parks Foundation, the Carmichael Parks Foundation, Italian Genealogical Society of Sacramento, and the Italian Culture Society. He is an avid genealogist researching both his mother and father's lineage which included authoring five books on his family genealogy. He owns a small business which is primarily focused on genealogical lecturing and consulting. ​​
